This was written for those who are new babes in Christ and for those who are seasoned in Christ and have been saved a long time. Everyone can benefit from these truths. Here below are a few ways that you grow strong and mature in your faith.
Chapter 1. You grow strong in your faith by reading and studying God’s Word (the Holy Bible). People of God there is no substitute for reading and studying God’s Holy Word. If you don’t read and study God’s Holy Word for yourself, you will not grow strong in your faith. Think of it this way, a baby need’s milk to grow strong and a man needs food to survive. Well the Word of God is both to you. The Word of God is your spiritual milk in which you grow strong just like that baby, and the Word of God is your food for survival just like food is to men (human beings). You cannot survive without the Word of God. The Word of God is your strength in good times and in your time of need and distress. Do not abandon it for anyone or anything. The Word of God is priceless, no book (no book) on earth can slightly compare to it! Remember this “The Word of God is not just words on a page written down like a normal book you would read from some mortal person; The word of God is powerful and alive because God himself is all powerful and alive. This means the Word of God is alive and active in your life right now. The more you read God’s Word it will seem as if the words of God are coming out of the pages and speaking directly into your life and situations. This is because it really is! God speaks to his children through His written word (the bible) and living Word (Jesus Christ) and by His Spirit (The Holy Spirit). Read below in 2 Timothy 3:16 and see what God declares about his written word (The Holy Bible).
2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT) 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
Chapter 2. You grow strong in your faith by frequently and sincerely praying to God in the name of his Son Jesus. By doing this often and frequently you are growing an intimate personal relationship with your God and Savior Jesus Christ. God will only hear you people of God if you come to him in the name of his Son Jesus. Why? This is because Jesus is God’s Son and he (Jesus) is the only one God has anointed to be the Savior and redeemer of the world (John 3:16-18) (John 4:42) (1 John 4:14). Why? This is because Jesus is the only way to God the Father, heaven, and eternal life (John 14:6) and salvation is only found in him and in him alone (Acts 4:12) (1 John 5:11-13) (Romans 6:23) (Romans 10:9-13). And furthermore Jesus is the only one who is sinless and perfect (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (1 John 3:5), Jesus is the only one who died on the cross and paid the full price for your sins unto God the Father by his own shed blood. These are just some of the reasons why He Jesus is the only way to God the Father, and this is why you must pray and come to God in the name of His Son Jesus.
John 14:6
6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Chapter 3. You grow strong in your faith by communing and walking with the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus walked with his disciples when he was here physically on the earth over 2,000 years ago, we are to walk and commune with the Holy Spirit because He is now on the earth. And He (the Holy Spirit) is here to guide us and teach us (the believers in Christ) the Word of God just like Jesus guided and taught his disciples the Word of God. For it is written in the Holy Bible that He (The Holy Spirit) will guide us into all truth.” The Holy Spirit is the believers guide, Counselor, and Comforter Here on this earth. Read (John 14:16-17, 26) (John 15:26) (John 16:7-15).
Chapter 4. You grow strong in your faith by communing and fellowshipping with the redeemed transformed children of God ( that is your brothers and sisters in Christ, that is those who trust in Jesus alone for their salvation). Read (Hebrews 10:24-25). And this is exactly what we are doing right here and right now today. We as the children of God are all part of the body of Christ, and we all need each other to grow strong in the Lord Jesus. These are just a few practical ways in how you grow strong (how you mature) in your faith. I pray that these words of wisdom that I’ve shared with you greatly encourage your soul.
People of God, God loves you more than you can ever fathom, and the greatest gift God will ever give unto you has already been given. The greatest gift in all of existence is not a thing or an it, the greatest gift in all of existence is a person to be believed on and a person to be received into your hearts and lives. This person’s name is the Lord Jesus Christ in whom you have already believed in and have come to know. His name is above every name. His power is above all powers, His authority is above all authorities, His dominion is above all dominions His Kingdom is above and greater than all kingdoms. He is the King of all Kings and He is the Lord of all lords and everyone (everyone) is subject unto him. His (Jesus’) name is the sweetest and most powerful name on the earth. The greatest gift is God’s Son the Lord Jesus Christ and praises be to God because you truly believe in his Son Jesus. May God continue to bless you in the name of his Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Have a blessed and glorious day In the Lord.
